Earn your Public Health degree at New York Medical College.
The M.P.H. Generalist degree program allows students to tailor their educational experience by earning between 18 and 21 elective credits in the overall 42-credit degree program. Students may choose elective courses based on interest or choose a concentration to fulfill the requirements for earning an Advanced Certificate (between 12-18 credits) in areas including global health, health administration, health hducation and emergency management.
The Dr.P.H. degree program offers small class sizes and a flexible format which allows you to build the leadership and management skills needed for a high-level role. The program consists of three main components: two years of coursework, a one-year internship, and a dissertation. In total, 54 credits are required to earn the degree. Courses are available online and in the evenings to accommodate working professionals.
