The M.P.H. Generalist degree program allows students to tailor their educational experience by earning between 18 and 21 elective credits in the overall 42-credit degree program. Students may choose elective courses based on interest or choose a concentration to fulfill the requirements for earning an Advanced Certificate (between 12-27 credits) in areas including global health, health administration, health education, emergency management, environmental health, and industrial hygeine.
The Dr.P.H. degree program offers small class sizes and a flexible format which allows you to build the leadership and management skills needed for a high-level role. The program consists of three main components: two years of coursework, a one-year internship, and a dissertation. In total, 54 credits are required to earn the degree.
Courses are available online and in the evenings to accommodate working professionals.
